Lumber’s Bartholomew 137 Gin is a range of independently owned and distilled spirits produced at the 137 Distillery on Bartholomew Street by landlord and Master Distiller, Pete Lumber. The distillery is fiercely independent and the first of its kind in Newbury, Royal Berkshire.
Launching the brand with four unique and distinct flavours, content was needed to drive awareness of the launch across the brand social channels. In the run up to Christmas and New Year, a series of unique pieces of content were concepted to reflect the seasonality of the launch with emphasis on occasion, gifting and the botanicals that go into each of the different bottles to give them their flavour.
Taking the concepts into production the content was filmed on location at the 137 Distillery in the Newbury pub on Bartholomew Street. With only a short window to film in before the pub opened to regulars, the content was efficiently produced utilising several thumb stopping techniques such as slow motion, boomerangs and cinemagraphs.
