STAND BUILD CONCEPT • INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE CONCEPT & DESIGN
With a place secured at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, BetGenius were looking for an angle to draw potential new customers to their stand and incentivise them to stay long enough to learn about the sport data products on offer.
With this fairly loose brief as a starting point, stand concepts were created with an interactive experience at the heart of the build. The experience would allow users to instantly build a bet on any sport, any game at any time, demonstrating the power of data that BetGenius can bring to potential partners. The interactive element would comprise of an alcove in a prominent area of the stand containing a 180 wrap around screen that would update according to the commands the user would input from a large touch screen display on a plinth looked within the alcove centrally adjacent to the screen. To maximise participation, a solely touch-screen based version of the demonstration existed on further plinths located to the sides of the main screen.
To bring dynamic energy to the experience the data was shaped to represent players from a variety of sports executing explosive moves such as serving a tennis ball, kicking a football or swinging for a baseball. The data flowed around the players in vibrant colours, constantly shifting to show the ever-changing nature of the data.
These highly dynamic representations of the sport data were also used to bring further visual impact to the stand with large graphics of the players in the vibrant colour ways providing stark contrast to the BetGenius refined colourway.
Ultimately, the placement of the interactive experience within the stand build was dedcided based on the the physical location of the stand within the exhibition space. The stand was to be located on the far end of a row facing the entrance, with the right side of the stand adjacent to the main thoroughfare for visitors, providing the ideal placement to catch the eye of passers by and draw them into the experience.
